This Privacy Policy describes how LoomfyMe (operated by FELIPE RODRIGUES CELESTINO LTDA, hereinafter “we”, “us” or “the Company”) collects, uses and protects your information when you use the LoomfyMe desktop application and the loomfy.ai website (together, the “Service”).
We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Lei nº 13.709/2018) and other applicable data protection laws.
1. Information we collect
1.1. Account information
When you create an account, we collect your e-mail address and authentication credentials. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we also collect billing information through our payment processor.
1.2. Content you create
LoomfyMe processes audio recordings, transcripts and summaries. You choose the processing mode:
- Local mode (default): all processing happens on your device. No content is transmitted externally.
- Cloud mode (opt-in, paid plans only): audio and text are securely transmitted to our service providers for cloud transcription and AI-powered analysis.
1.3. Technical and diagnostic data
To operate the Service and identify issues, we collect:
- Device information (operating system, processor, memory, graphics card)
- Application version
- Session metrics (duration, transcription time, GPU usage)
This data does not include audio content or transcripts. You can disable collection at any time in Settings → Diagnostics.
1.4. Website data
When you visit loomfy.ai, standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) may be recorded for security purposes. We do not use analytics cookies or third-party trackers on this website.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate and maintain the Service
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Respond to support requests
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
We will never sell your personal data, recordings or transcripts to third parties.
3. Legal basis for processing
We process personal data on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract — to deliver the Service you subscribed to
- Consent — for optional cloud processing features
- Legitimate interests — to secure the Service and prevent fraud
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws and regulations
You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
4. Third-party service providers
To deliver the Service, we engage a limited number of third-party providers, primarily located in the United States, and bound by appropriate data processing agreements:
- A payment processor acting as our Merchant of Record
- An authentication provider
- A cloud transcription provider (cloud mode only)
- An AI language model provider (cloud mode only)
Cloud providers are only engaged when you explicitly enable cloud features. In local-only mode, no personal content leaves your device.

5. Data retention
- Local content: stored on your device only. You control deletion.
- Account data: retained while your account is active and for up to 12 months after deletion for legal purposes.
- Billing records: retained as required by applicable tax law.
- Support communications: retained for up to 24 months.
You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, or port your personal data. You may also withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (ANPD in Brazil, or your local authority in the EU).

6.1. Your responsibilities as a user
Before starting a recording, the app requires your explicit confirmation that you have consent from everyone who will be recorded. You may dismiss this prompt for future recordings, but the legal responsibility for obtaining informed consent under the laws applicable to your jurisdiction remains solely yours. LoomfyMe is a tool — compliance with privacy and recording laws in the context where you use it is your obligation.
7. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure, but we continuously work to safeguard your information against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.
8. International data transfers
When using cloud features, your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. We rely on legally recognized transfer mechanisms, including Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure adequate protection.
9. Children’s privacy
LoomfyMe is not intended for users under 13 (or 16 where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated policy on this page and, for significant changes, by e-mail notification to active accounts.
